Lynx is a simple text browser. It happens to be fast, stable, and generally better than either M$IE or Nutscrape. So what if you can't see any pictures? You can download them so you can use an external viewer (such as PictView) to see them.

The only major drawback of Lynx is that many self-proclaimed Web designers decide to abuse HTML tags to make a perfect layout, make pages so that one has to have JavaScript (aka JavaSh!t, JavaCrash, etc.) to use them, and/or forget to use the required ALT attribute in their <IMG> tags.

But besides stupid Web designers and Lynx-dehanced pages, Lynx is the third best browser in my book.

Notes:

Lynx is still a good browser, considering that it's a lot faster than any graphical browser could be, and that I can use it on any machine if it has a network connection and a working telnet client.
