The Believer cult received a major blow to its operations when three of its buildings burned yesterday, including its temple. A health clinic and an indoctrination center (school) were also burned. The temple received major damage, and the clinic was completely destroyed when the various flammable items inside caught fire. The buildings were not insured, and damages could be in the millions.
An investigation revealed that the fires were arson-related.
Terry Bell, the head of the United Southpoint Association, was found on the cult's land and arrested on suspicion of arson.
